We at RNH firmly believe this and therefore in this pandemic we continue to support the government and help the citizens of Nagpur by COVID vaccination drive. We started the vaccination drive from 10th March, 2021.
We request all the healthcare workers, frontline workers to come and vaccinate one. Also persons above 60 years of age and persons between 45 to 59 years with comorbid conditions are eligible. Persons with one or more of comorbid conditions like diabetes, hypertension, cancer etc. will need a certificate from a registered medical practitioner to be eligible for vaccination. Also person with a past history of COVID and who falls in any of the above category are eligible to take vaccine which will help in building a stronger immune system.
Some common side effects could be mild fever, pain at injection site or headache. Vaccine is injected by a trained nurse and after the dose; person is kept under observation for 30 minutes to look for any side effects. After the first dose, next dose is injected after a period of 28 days or 4 weeks.
We are obliged to serve around 60 to 70 citizens daily for the vaccination till now.
Vaccination timings at RNH hospital are from 11 am to 4 pm from Monday to Saturday. As per government guidelines, charge of rupees 250 rupees per person per dose is taken.
